LEEWARD LANDING DONATES $5,000 TO THE YORK COUNTY FOOD RESCUE PROGRAM

York, ME -  April 19, 2013,  Employees and volunteers of Leeward Landing Thrift Store presented Jodi Bissonnette of the York County Food Rescue with a check for $5,000.  The donation will be used to pay for electrical provisioning and other facility modifications needed to complete the food charities move to a new warehouse location. “Leeward Landing’s very generous donation couldn’t have come at a better time.  We were faced the expense of moving into our new facility without a clear way to  pay for it.  We are so grateful for their support” said Jodi Bissonnette Director of the York County Food Rescue Program.
